The Padgett House is working towards opening both a 24-Hour Child Care Center and an After-School Program.
The 24-Hour Child Care Center will house children of incarcerated parents on a short-term basis. Acceptance into this program will depend on the severity of the parent's offense and the degree to which they are incapable of properly caring for their children.
The After-School Program will provide children in the community with a second place to call home where both individual and group counseling will be offered alongside a wide range of enriching activities.
